Here are some additional pictures from Caroline's promotion ceremony and the reception afterwards.
By some twist of organizational fate--Caroline was the first one to walk in of the entire 5th grade. Not too often that happens to someone with a last name that starts with U! The classes came in reverse alphabetical order by teacher name (Caroline's teacher is Weber so her class was first). Then by reverse alphabetical order by row. The last row only had 2 seats on it--Caroline and another boy whose last name started with W. So Caroline was first.
Following the ceremony the 5th graders walked through the halls of the school while the other grades came out of their class rooms, lined the halls, and sang "Good Riddance (The Time of your life)"--it is a sweet goodbye song. Following their walk through the halls, they came to the gym for a reception for friends and family that came to see them.
