I would like to thank the academy....

Last week, Shanna nominated me for this award! I have never been nominated for a blog award (in all my many years months of blogging).

The award comes with these rules:

1. The winner can put the logo on their blog.
2. Link to the person you received your award from.
3. Nominate at least 7 other blogs.
4. Put links of those blogs on yours.
5. Leave a message on the blogs you've nominated.
6. Write an acceptance speech in the style of the Academy Awards, thanking everybody’s mother, father, sister, brother, aunties and uncles and the kitchen staff at your favorite restaurant!

So first I must thank Shanna who nominated me without whom none of this would have been possible. She is also the one that first showed me how to start a blog--what I was doing with all my free time prior to that, I have no idea. And of course I must thank my beautiful (and very fashionable) kids who make me laugh and tell me like it is. And of course, my wonderful husband
who puts up with the massive amounts of time I spend doing this--and even went so far as to write his own post last week!

My Nominees are:

1. Caroline: Not prejudiced in the least....but she has one of the funniest blogs I have ever read :) I love the way she writes and I love how she knows what she wants...she also likes to read my blog and tell me what I got wrong or what I should change--who doesn't need an editor!
2. Kelleyn: I love reading her blog--of course I am insanely jealous that she gets to travel all over and I really wish I could trade her places on most of her trips--but if I can't go on them, at least I get to read about them!
3. Misty: I love her blog--I love her...what a great friend and she has such a cute family....If I could be more like her, I would be a much better person.
4. Audra: She inspired me to start writing in my blog more...plus she take incredible pictures and she is a fabulous friend! Now if only she would get her camera fixed so she could post more!
5. Mom: Of course, she is my mom so she is fabulous--but I also love reading her blog and the lessons she teaches in her posts.
6. Ali: Her blog is so funny--I love to read her commentary and she is able to write about things in a way I just love to read.....so funny and so true! What a fabulous person to have as my cousin!
