Sensing this was exactly the type of thing Alex would love, I signed him up.
They gave each of the kids a baby (teddy bear) that they got to keep. They provided a changing pad, a wipe and a diaper. The kids washed their hands before touching the baby, then put the diaper on their baby and practiced holding the baby correctly.
It was pretty good (in a 2-year-old kind of way), and Alex loved it. They gave him a little certificate at the end that said he could help change a baby's diaper.
In case you are wondering--all the red scrapes on his face are the result of playing outside yesterday with Caroline and Carter--it seems that he probably fell out of the swing (face first), but no one can confirm the story.

Looks like he is ready! Now if only he really could do some diaper changes that would be perfect. He should be a great big brother!
He's SO big... And adorable! I love the big brother class! That looks so fun!
That is so adorable. He did a great job helping me change Ellie's diaper (although I didn't let him wipe ;) )
