Alex's middle name is no longer James--it is "Me Too!". These two words are the words that leave his mouth the most. No matter what anyone is saying (regardless of if he understands the conversation or not) Alex always pipes in with "Me too, Ma" or "Me too, Da". There is nothing that the older kids are doing that he is too small for--nothing that anyone in the house does that he can't do too!
It is hilarious to see Alex mimic the older kids--as they do their homework, play downstairs, or just talk. Yesterday we went to my moms and Adam, Lisa and Ellie were there. Caroline was doing little dances and such to get Ellie to smile. As soon as Alex realized what she was doing, he was right there doing his best to copy what Caroline was doing. On the Fourth of July we lit off some fireworks from my parent's driveway. Before the "grand finale" Caroline got up and made a little speech about it. Alex watched her and as soon as she sat down he got up and looked at everyone and gave a big growling noise--he knew he couldn't copy what she said, but he had to do something to match her so the growl was what he had!
Luckily he has a very nice older brother and sister that humor him (for the most part) and are happy to let him join them in everything they do!
