Last Fling of Summer

I'm feeling sad that there are only 2 more weeks of summer.  And happy, and sad again.  I love having the kids around all the time, I don't love having to think up exciting things for them to do every day or have them be totally bored.

I wanted to end on a high note, and I had been thinking of all kinds of things that we could do that would leave them thinking that this summer was really terrific...because it doesn't really matter what I do the entire summer--it is the last week that determines if they had a fun summer or were bored (I could take them to disney for the entire summer and come back 1 week before school starts and just relax that last week and they would tell everyone they had a boring summer and didn't do anything fun!).

I was trying to think of things, but everything was too hard with little kids, or we couldn't fit it in between dr appointments, karate and school open house.  Finally I decided to ask the kids.  So this is what we are going to do next week (not necessarily in this order):
It should be an action packed fun week and by the end I will certainly be ready for school to start!

Shanna--you are welcome to join in on whatever you want (everything is better with you there--right?)
