don't they look so excited to be here?
This is what I saw the most of
Aaron was afraid of all the bounce places...but we finally found a slide he loved
That's right--the steps to the bounce house. I paid $5 for him to go down the steps about 10 times. I told Carter that he needed to play extra hard to make up the money I spent on Aaron to do nothing. He told me that Alex was already playing twice as hard....and it was true, I barely saw Alex the whole time we were there. He had so much fun, it was fun to see him loving it so much.
The poor kids were within minutes of starving to death by the time we finished at Monkey Joes--they had probably been without food for at least 2 entire hours...and being the mean moms that we were, Shanna and I would not waste our money buy them any of the food from the concession area.
We finally relented and drove them to McDonald's for lunch. I forgot my rule of only letting them eat McDonald's food when I don't actually have to eat with them. That rule has been newly ingrained into my memory after eating there once again.
Overall we had a good time, and got home with enough time to relax before Karate class that evening.
