Kingergarten Roundup

I'm not sure when it happened, but somehow Alex turned 5 and decided he was ready to go to Kindergarten.  A week before school started the neighborhood had a kindergarten roundup for all the kids starting Kindergarten.

First they played a few games.

Then they let the kids go through the lunch line to get their lunch.

Alex was happy his friend Owen was there too.  After lunch they gave the kids play money and they got to go to the "store" and buy school supplies--scissors, a ruler, pencils, pencil box, etc. I love how fun they make it for the kids.
