Trunk or Treat--take 1

We joined my mom and dad at their trunk or treat activity. Matt has a tradition to be out of town on Halloween, or the week before. He was out of town and the kids missed his office Halloween party (which they were very sad about), but he was coming back into town in time for Halloween this year, but not in time for this trunk or treat.

 

Caroline was a pioneer, Carter was Harry Potter, Aaron was Peter Pan and Alex was Ash (a Pokemon Trainer).  I dressed up as Where's Waldo.

The kids had a great time collecting candy from all the cars.

There were a lot of games, but the most popular was the doughnut on a string game!

After a few tries the boys decided it was far easier to just hold the string and eat the doughnut!

"Ummm....now what?"
